Lisa Lutman, P.T., C.S.C.I.
I graduated from Maumee High School and received my Physical Therapy degree from the Univ. of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 1981. I started my Physical Therapy career in Toledo, Ohio. I was raised with an interest in Eastern medicine and I acquired a mission to seek out "whatever made sense and worked the quickest" for my patients. I've utilized various "hands on skills" especially for the last 15 years. I see myself as a "bridge" for many people between the traditional physical therapy and holistic complementary techniques which blend so well together.
My Skills
Over 25 years of Physical Therapy experience including inpatient and outpatient rehab for the medically complex patient, Head Injury Team Leader, NDT (NEURODEVELOPMENTALLY TRAINED/ADULT CERTIFIED) specializing in advanced treatment for the stroke and head injury survivor. I am a manual specialist in holistic pain relief techniques including CRANIOSACRAL, MIND-BODY EMOTIONAL RELEASES, ZERO-BALANCING, HEALING TOUCH, REIKI, MYOFASCIAL RELEASE, VISCERAL MANIPULATION, LYMPH DRAINAGE & JOINT MOBILIZATIONS. I offer harness supported treadmill and balance training. Yoga/Pilates based exercise programs along with personal training and massage therapy are also available at my clinic. I've been enjoying the roles as an Upledger Teaching Assistant, as well as one of the Toledo CranioSacral Study Group Leaders. I do treat adults to toddlers and infants holistically with Zero-Balancing and CranioSacral work.

I have guest lectured at Lourdes College, Owens Community College, the Northwest Occupational Therapy Association, the Ohio Occupational Therapy Association State Conference and the Head Injury Support Group.

Izabella Koyfman, P.T.A.
I graduated in 1974 with a B.A. in Accounting from the University of Moscow, Russia. In 1998 I received my Ohio Licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant, having graduated from Professional Skills Institute/Lourdes College with an Associate Degree of Applied Science. I especially enjoy working here at Alternative Physical Therapy, as there is such an emphasis on the holistic element of health. Even when I still lived in Russia I was very attracted to this idea of healing with positive energies.
My Skills
I am skilled in treatment techniques such as balance and gait training, therapeutic exercise, therapeutic massage, electrical stimulation (FES, TENS, IFC), ultrasound, iontophoresis, hydrotherapy, orthotic and prosthetic training. I am also trained in assessment and measurement skills such as endurance, flexibility, ROM, manual muscle testing, functional activities, pain, posture, skin integrity and sensation. I am clinically skilled in the treatment of a wide variety of orthopedic patients, CVA, SCI, TBI, amputee patients, Parkinson’s disease, MS, and cancer patients. I’ve also recently completed my first coursework in CranioSacral Therapy, and am pleased and anxious to continue to work with this exciting new field.
