ZERO BALANCING: method for aligning body structure and body energy. Through touch akin to acupressure, practitioner seeks to overcome imbalances in the body’s structure/energetic interface, which is said to exist beneath the level of conscious awareness. Often used for stress reduction & alignment.
VISCERAL MANIPULATION: Visceral manipulation enhances the normal mobility and tissue motion of the organs of the visceral system. Hypertonicity, displacement and adhesions can all cause organs to work against each other, creating chronic irritation and fixed, abnormal points of tension. The visceral organs are dependent on their ability to move freely in the visceral cavity to then work correctly and efficiently. By freeing each organ to work compatibly with the others, a therapist can potentially alter and improve the structure and functioning of the entire body.
DYNAMIC MYOFASCIAL RELEASE: is a form of bodywork that is manipulative in nature and seeks to
rebalance the body by releasing tension in the fascia. Long, stretching strokes are utilized to release muscular tension.
LYMPH DRAINAGE: A specialty therapeutic massage for the face or body that uses a light touch and gentle pumping technique to drain pockets of water retention and promote proper fluid exchange and detoxification.
